IPL 2018: CSK beat RCB by 5 wickets, Dhoni finishes game in signature style
Bengaluru: In an IPL match last night, Chennai Super Kings recorded a thrilling five wicket victory over Royal Challengers Bangalore with Dhoni finishing the match in signature style.
Set to score 206 runs for a win, Chennai overhauled the target in 19.4 overs. Skipper M S Dhoni hit the winning runs with a six and remained unbeaten on 70 runs in 34 balls.

M S Dhoni who smashed seven sixes and a boundary was named the man of the match. Ambati Rayudu was the top scorer in the innings with a fine 82 runs off 53 balls.
Earlier put into bat Royal Challengers Bangalore scored 205 for eight in 20 overs. De Villiers made 68 runs in 30 balls, while de Kock contributed 53 runs.
Chennai Super Kings and Kings Eleven Punjab now have 10 points each, but Chennai top the table on the basis of better Net Run Rate in the eight-teams competition.
Kohli fined 12 lakh for slow over rate against CSK
Royal Challengers Bangalore captain Virat Kohli has been fined Rs 12 lakh for maintaining slow over-rate during their Indian Premier League against Chennai Super Kings in Bengaluru on Wednesday night.
The hosts had put on board a challenging 205 for eight but riding on MS Dhoni’s power-packed 34-ball 70, Super Kings overhauled the formidable target with two balls to spare.
“As it was his team’s first offence of the season under the IPL’s Code of Conduct relating to minimum over-rate offences, Mr. Kohli was fined Rs 12 lakh,” an IPL press release said.
