New Delhi: Four sitting judges of the Supreme Court said on Friday that the administration of the country’s highest court was not in order and warned that democracy would not survive in the country unless the institution was preserved.
In an extraordinary event, four of the senior most judges of Supreme Court addressed a press conference to address matters what they termed ‘less than desirable’, with regard to the judiciary.
SC judges Kurian Joseph, J Chelameswar, Ranjan Gogoi and Madan Lokur held the press meet at Chelameswar’s residence.
They said they had submitted a letter to Chief Justice of India Dipak Misra.
