4th Test: India 87 runs away from winning Border-Gavaskar trophy

Dharamsala, March 27: India need another 87 runs on the fourth day tomorrow to win the final test match against Australia at Dharamsala. Today the visitors were bundled out for 137 in 53.5 overs with a target of 106 runs for the hosts to win the game.

Chasing the modest target, Ajainkya Rahane led side is well placed at 19 for no loss at close of play on the third day.

Earlier, Ravindra Jadeja’s fine knock of 63 off 95 balls enabled India to end at 332 all out and gain a slender 32-run first innings lead. Australia made 300 in first innings.

For India, paceman Umesh Yadav, spinners R Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja took three wickets apiece.
