New Delhi: Atletico Madrid striker Luiz Suarez anticipating performance was not enough to keep Atletico’s winning streak as Celta Vigo’s debutant Facundo Ferreyra’s last-minute goal ended the match with a 2-2 draw interrupted the Liga leaders’ eight games winning stream.

The Uruguayan striker put Atletico to the lead in the 50th minute, A great assist from Renan Lodi ball to score his 16 goals out of 17 games in La Liga since his arrival in Atletico.

Celta’s performance faded as the second half proceeds further but pulled up a leveler in the 89th minute of the game through an Argentine forward Ferreyra, who came off the bench just 13 minutes before the final whistle. Ferreyra joined Celta Vigo earlier this month as a free agent, which turns out to be a good asset for the team’s crucial 2-2 draw.
Celta’s last three games were drawn and put them in 10th position with 26 points in the league table.
