New Delhi: Indian pacers dished out a splendid performance to bundle out Bangladesh for 106 in their first innings on the opening day of their maiden Day/Night Test in Kolkata today.

Ishant Sharma claimed five wickets, Umesh Yadav snapped three while Mohammed Shami bagged two.

Earlier, Bangladesh won the toss and elected to bat first.

Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee inaugurated the five-day match in the presence of BCCI President Saurav Ganguly, Bangladesh Cricket Board President Nazmul Hasan Papon and other dignitaries.

Former Indian Cricketers Sachin Tendulkar, Kapil Dev, Sunil Gavasker and eminent former cricketers of Bangladesh were present on the occasion.
