New Delhi: Team India met with Prime Minister Modi upon landing at the Delhi airport. The entire team was stuck in the Caribbean for three days due to a devastating hurricane named Beryl. Once the adverse weather conditions subsided, the team landed in New Delhi at 6:00 am and then headed to the ITC Maurya Hotel.


After the team freshened up, the entire team led by Rohit Sharma met the PM for a formal breakfast. While meeting the PM; an incredible visual surfaced in the social media which has warmed up the netizens with positivity. While felicitating the entire team, PM Modi as a mark of respect did not touch the trophy and let the guys who won it touch the trophy i.e. Dravid and Rohit.


On the other hand, Team India went to Mumbai after they met with PM Modi. The Mumbaikars from the team- Rohit Sharma, Shivam Dubey and Yashasvi Jaiswal have all been invited to meet Eknath Shinde, the Maharastra Chief Minister on Friday. Pratap Sarnaik a close aide of Shinde has said, β€œβ€¦Team India players from Mumbai including Captain Rohit Sharma, Suryakumar Yadav, Shivam Dubey and Yashasvi Jaiswal will come to the Maharashtra Assembly tomorrow to meet CM Eknath Shinde…”
