Here is the list of players ruled out of IPL 2023 and their replacements:

1. Jasprit Bumrah (MI)

Jasprit Bumrah is out of action due to his back injury since September last year. He has missed major tournaments including the T20 World Cup and is now set to miss the IPL 2023 and WTC Finals. Mumbai Indians will miss his yorkers and wicket-taking ability in the death. MI has not named a replacement for Bumrah yet.

2. Kyle Jamieson (CSK)

CSK’s star all-rounder, bought for Rs 1 crore in the mini auction, suffered a back injury and will be missing the tournament. He did well for RCB last season and the Kiwi all-rounder was anticipated to be one of the players to look out for this season.

The franchise has signed Sisanda Magala as Jamieson’s replacement. The 32-year-old South African pacer has picked six wickets in six T20Is but has a great record in domestic games. He has bowled in a total of 123 T20 innings and has picked a total of 139 wickets, including two five-wicket hauls.
