New Delhi: The second season of Legends League Cricket is in its final stage, and with only three more matches to go, we have found the first finalists for the season in the form of Urbanrisers Hyderabad.
Suresh Raina-led Urbanisers is one of the two teams that were the newest additions to the tournament for the second season.

Urbanrisers Hyderabad and Manipal Tigersβ last league game was washed out, which saw both the teams finishing in top 2 positions after the league stage and securing their place in the qualifier 1.
Both the teams took on each other on Tuesday at the Lalabhai Contractor Stadium in Surat, for a place in the finals.
Manipal Tigersβ skipper Md. Kaif won the toss and opted to field first.
Urbanrisers had a rocky start as they lost their opener, Martin Guptill (1), early in the innings.
However, Urbanrisers, with the help of Dwayne Smith (120), Rikki Clarke (34) and Gurkeerat Singh (39), stabilized the innings and put them of a path of a huge total.

In the end, Peter Trego (18) and Asghar Afghan (23*), played quick cameos to the take the innings to a mammoth total of 253 for 6 in 20 overs.
Pankaj Singh and Thisara Perera were the best bowlers for the Tigers, with 2 wickets each under their name.
In reply, despite keeping up with the required run rate, the Tigers kept losing wickets at the regular interval, and except for Angelo Perera (73), no other batsmen even crossed the 20 runs mark, which resulted in them getting all-out on 178 in 16.3 overs, handing the Urbanrisers a 75 runs victory.

Peter Trego and Jerome Taylor were the most successful bowlers for the Urbanisers, with three wickets each under their name.
Manipal Tigers will now wait for the winner of India Capitals and Gujrat Giants to have a final go for the place in the finals in the qualifier 2.
