The warm welcome of Babar Azam & team and enthusiastic greeting by Indian fans left the Pakistani counterparts surprised yet thrilled. They took to social media and admitted that they were blown away by Indian reception of Pakistan cricket team and they weren’t expecting such heartwarming welcome at all.
As Babar Azam & team got ready to exit the Hyderabad airport, they were swarmed by hundreds of cricket fans who cheered and shouted for them. Some of them gave a shout-out for Pakistani skipper, leaving the latter delighted & overwhelmed, as seen in his Instagram story.
Many Pakistani cricket fans took to X (formerly called Twitter) and expressed their gratitude for extending warm welcome to team amid cold ties between two nations. Some of them expressed gratitude while some expressed shock
over presence of big crowd at the airport which assembled for their welcome.
One Pak fan wrote, “Didn’t expect this number of people at the airport, THANKYOU HYDERABAD.”
To be very honest, I didn’t expect such a great welcome of our team in India. The chants of “Babar, Babar” on road & at the airport were so warming. This is an epitome of what you see on social media isn’t the entire truth.🔥❤️#BabarAzam𓃵 #PakistanCricketTeam #Hyderabad pic.twitter.com/I5O1Gou4vK
