Pakistan reveal their Women’s T20 World Cup 2024 squad with a new captain in…

New Delhi: The ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2024 is knocking at the door. Naturally, the teams are expected to release their squad list and details for the upcoming tournament. The Pakistan Cricket Board has named its squad for the Women’s T20 World Cup 2024. Although all the regular players have made it to the final squad of the Pakistani Women’s Cricket team there is a change in the captaincy. Pakistan’s usual captain Nida Dar has been replaced by Fatima Sana who will be leading the women in green for this edition of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2024.


Pakistan has been grouped with Australia, India, New Zealand and Sri Lanka in Group A. Naturally, it will be a tough group for Pakistan to come out of Group A. Talking about the Pakistani captain, Sana is a bowling allrounder, who has featured in 41 ODIs and 40 T20Is and has previously led Pakistan’s emerging and domestic sides.

Fatima Sana (captain), Aliya Riaz, Diana Baig, Gull Feroza, Iram Javed, Muneeba Ali (wicket-keeper), Nashra Sundhu, Nida Dar, Omaima Sohail, Sadaf Shamas, Sadia Iqbal (subject to fitness), Sidra Amin, Syeda Aroob Shah, Tasmia Rubab and Tuba Hassan.
