New Delhi: The ninth day of the Paris Olympics will see the Indian men’s hockey team take on Great Britain’s hockey team in the quarterfinals of the men’s hockey. Following this, the Indian badminton shuttler Lakshya Sen will take on the Viktor Axelsen in the semifinals of the men’s singles.
Parul Chaudhary and Jeswin Aldrin will take on the Women’s 3000m Steeplechase Round and the Men’s Long Jump Qualification respectively. Lovlina Borgohain, the Tokyo Olympics bronze medalist will also take on the two-time Olympic champion Li Qian. If the Assamese boxer manages to win her bout, she will become the first boxer to win multiple medals in the Olympics.

Indian golfers Gaganjeet Bhullar, and Subhakar Sharma will also take part in round 4 of the men’s Individual Stroke Play. Lastly, the shooting contingent will continue their medal quest in the Men’s 25m Pistol and Skeet competitions.
