โTraining is going fine in Germanyโฆโ- Neeraj optimistic about Paris!
One of the star performers in the Olympic lineup has been Neeraj Chopra. The star athlete from Haryana has become the poster boy of Indian athletics after he won an individual gold in Tokyo 2020. The last time an Indian who had won an individual gold medal in the Olympics was way back in Beijing 2008 (Abhinav Bindra).

Naturally, all eyes will be on Neeraj to repeat the feat once again in Paris. Interestingly, while conversing virtually with PM Modi, Neeraj promised the Indian Prime Minister that he would bring some homemade โchurmaโ for the Indian PM once he returned from Paris.
To this statement, the Indian Prime Minister fondly remarked, โMujhe aapke maa ke haath ka khaaana haiโฆโย indicating that the Indian PM eagerly awaits the return of the Olympian with the dangling gold medal.
