PKL 2023: Jaipur Pink Panthers cements their top spot, while Haryana Steelers continues their playoff hunt check out the complete points table

PKL 2023: The defending champions Jaipur Pink Panthers equals the record for most matches unbeaten, i.e., 11 matches in a row.

New Delhi: Leg eight of the Pro Kabaddi League, season 10, is heading towards its end as the race for the playoffs has started to intensify, with all the 12 teams giving their all to secure the top 6 spots.

The defending champions Jaipur Pink Panthers, along with Puneri Paltan and Dabang Delhi KC, are the top contenders in the race, while Telugu Titans, UP Yoddhas, Bengaluru Bulls and Tamil Thalaivas are standing at the gates of exit.

On Monday night, Gachibowli Indoor Stadium of Hyderabad hosted two big matches, with Jaipur Pink Panthers taking on the Bengal Warriors, while the hosts Telugu Titans went up against the Haryana Steelers.

In the first match of the day, the defending champions Jaipur Pink Panthers took on the Bengal Warriors in a bid to equal U Mumba’s record of season two, to go most matches unbeaten, i.e., 11 matches undefeated.

Panthers and Warriors were on par in the first half, but the men in pink ran away with a huge win of 17 points in the second half, as the final scoreline read 42 to 25 in Panthers’ favour.

Arjun Deshwal (15 raid points) and Ankush (6 tackle points) were Panthers heroes on Monday night.

In the second match of the day, the hosts Telugu Titans once again failed to build on their winning momentum, as the Steelers registered yet another seven-point victory over the Titans, as the final scoreline read 37 to 30 in the Steelers’ favour.

Vinay (6 raid points) and Rahul Sethpal (8 tackle points) were Steelers stars for the night.
