New Delhi: Team India suffered some major blow after the first test match, as two of their main team player, Ravindra Jadeja and KL Rahul, have been ruled out of the second test match against the English side, which is scheduled to take place from February 2 in Vizag.

The BCCI, on Monday, announced injury updates about the two players, stating that they are ruled out of the next while, while also announcing three names as replacements for the men in blue.

Sarfaraz Khan, Washington Sundar and Saurabh Kumar have been added to the revised Indian squad for the second test match of the series.

The announcement officially marks the end of Sarfaraz Khan’s long wait for his maiden team, team India call-up, after producing bangers after bangers on the domestic circuit for years now.

Sarfaraz, who was often criticized for being out of shape by the BCCI officials, seems to have found a soft spot in the hearts of the selection committee and has finally earned his maiden call for the Indian national team.

Notably, Sarfaraz Khan has an impressive first-class record, as the Mumbai-based batter has scored 3912 runs in 45 first-class matches with a superb average of 68.85 and a highest score of 301 not out.
