Syed Mushtaq Ali T20: Hardik Pandya gives a hang of T20 cricket to CSK’s new recruit

New Delhi: Although Hardik Pandya has been retained by Mumbai Indians, the Indian all-rounder showed why he is the boss when it comes to the shortest format of white ball cricket. The ongoing Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 competition has seen many Indian greats like Hardik Pandya, Shreyas Iyer and Mohammed Shami get into their groove.

Hardik unleashed his beast mode against Tamil Nadu as he guided his domestic team, Baroda to a 3-wicket victory. Pandya’s entertaining innings against Tamil Nadu came in 30 balls (69 runs off 30 balls) and included 4 fours and 7 towering sixes!

Hardik’s favourite bowler from the night was CSK’s latest recruit, Gurjanpreet Singh who is playing his domestic cricket also for the state. Singh was recently picked by Chennai Super Kings at the IPL 2025 mega auction for Rs 2.20 crore. Hardik blasted away the young left-hand batter as he is still finding his footing in T20Is. Pandya hit four sixes and one four in a single over to scalp 29 runs from a single over!
