New Delhi: India’s talented and dynamic all-rounder Hardik Pandya has once again lit up social media with his theatrics. In the 1st T20I between India and Bangladesh, the men in blue managed to chase down the below-par total of the Bangla Tigers (127) with ease within 11.5 overs. Hardik was the top-scorer for India as he remained unbeaten on 39 off 16 deliveries and he made short work of the 128-run target.
Pandya was especially destructive in the chase against the Bangladeshi team scoring at a whopping strike rate of 243. However, it was not the destructive strike rate of Pandya but rather his on-field ‘theatrics’ which had bemused the netizens.
Hardik’s favourite bowler in the night turned out to be Taskin Ahmed who was hit for 3 consecutive fours. This included an impressive no-look shot that he just guided over the wicket-keeper’s head. While Pandya did not give any reaction after hitting the shot, social media was buzzing with the shot. IPL franchise Rajasthan Royals even put out a special post for Hardik’s shot- “Don’t say Aura, don’t say Swag, just say Hardik Pandya….”
India registered a comfortable seven-wicket win over Bangladesh in the first T20I of the three-match series on Sunday. The men in Blue bowled out Bangladesh for 127 and then chased down the target of 128 with 49 balls to spare.
