New Delhi: The India junior hockey team won a record-extending fifth title by triumphing over their arch-rivals Pakistan, securing a 5-3 win over the men in green. The match, held in Muscat, Oman, was a rollercoaster of emotions as both teams battled fiercely for the prestigious trophy.

The Pakistani hockey team took an early lead in the match, with Sufyan Khan scoring two goals and Hannan Shahid adding another to put them ahead 3-1. However, India quickly regained their composure, with Araijeet Singh Hundal leading the charge. Hundal scored 4 goals at the end of the game and was the star of the game. Furthermore, Dilraj Singh added the cherry on top and contributed the fifth goal to take the scoreline 5-3.

Although the Pakistani cricket team lost in the end, the men in green gave the early jitters in the game as they took a 3-1 lead in the game. However, the Indian team showed remarkable resilience, drawing level at 3-3. India’s offensive strength proved too much for Pakistan’s defence and ended in the defeat for the men in green.
