WATCH: Olympian Neeraj Chopra touches feet of elderly fan, humble gesture wins hearts

New Delhi: Neeraj Chopra is an Indian track and field Indian track and field athlete who is the reigning Olympic champion in the javelin throw.

Chopra is the first track and field athlete to win a gold medal for India at the Olympics and is also the first track and field athlete from India to win at the IAAF World U20 Championships, where in 2016 he achieved a world under-20 record throw of 86.48 m, becoming the first Indian athlete to set a world record. Chopra is from the Ror community of Haryana.

Neeraj leaves no chance to win the hearts of people. The Player won hearts with his spectacular performance and recently a video has gone viral

which has left people in ‘aww’.

Mr Chopra was seen interacting and posing with people. An old man came there and he said he admired him as a player. Man motivated him and was heard saying  “Agli baar 90 se uppar jaayega (Next time, you will definitely throw over 90 metres),” the man said.

Hearing such inspirational words Neeraj got happy and touched the feet of elderly people and said “Dhnayawwad” (THANKYOU). Neeraj then left to catch his bus.

The video clip was shared on Twitter by a user named ‘@ijnani’. Till now the post has managed to reach 255k views and 12.2K people have reacted to the video.
