New Delhi: With no central contract from BCCI and a topsy-turvy year, Indian cricketer Ishan Kishan looks to make a comeback to the central team once again. Earlier, Kishan was snubbed from the central contract by the BCCI after the former failed to turn up for a domestic career.
However, Kishan roared back in style to display a brilliant run of form in the domestic circuit. Ishan Kishan displayed brilliant stroke play in the Duleep Trophy and the Ranji Trophy to find a place in the India A squad for the upcoming Australia tour. Recalling the tough journey, Kishan remembers the time when fellow Mumbai Indians teammate Hardik Pandya came in as a big brother to help him tide over the tough time.
In a recent interview with the Times of India, Kishan remarked:
Every individual is different. I feel not everyone would think like that. I feel I am lucky enough that my thinking pattern is very practical. I am a very practical guy. I have spent a lot of time with Hardik (Pandya) and you also know that he is a very practical guy. What’s needed, is needed. You don’t have to cry about everything… So I have also started thinking like that…
Ishan played two matches in the ODI World Cup 2023 before losing his spot to Shubman Gill. Recently, the youngster opened up about how maintaining a neutral point helped him in keeping balance in his career.
