Interestingly, after Shreyanka Patil’s debut in the WCPL 2023, Indian players will be part of the CPL this year as well (Shikha Pandey and Jemimah Rodrigues for the Trinbago Knight Riders). Unfortunately, Patil won’t be part of this year’s Caribbean Premier League. Other important players from the world of women’s cricket in the WCPL 2024 are Jhulan Goswami and Meg Lanning. Jhulan has taken the role of mentorship for the Knight Riders while Meg Lanning, winner of the Hundred Women title with the London Spirit recently is also part of the squad.
