New Delhi: Rajasthan Royals’ leg-spinners Yuzvendra Chahal had a memorable night on Monday in the ongoing IPL 2022, during a match at the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai.
The cricketer was able to pick up four wickets in an over, which also includes his first hat-trick in the current season of the tournament, which further turns out to be to decisive turn in the match. In the match last night, RR is leading with a thrilling 7-run victory.
In an impressive performance during the league, Chahal was able to dismiss Shreyas Iyer, Venkatesh Iyer, Pat Cummins, and Shivam Mavi in the 17th over of KKR’s trail.
Apart from the outstanding bowling throughout the match, the RR player started trending on social media after he celebrated his first hat-trick in the league by recreating his famous meme-pose on the field.
Chahal ran across the playing field while celebrating the hat-trick along with other teammates but suddenly slid in a relaxed gesture on the ground while posing for the cameras. Actually, the leg-spinner recreated his old pose which had gone viral during the 2019 ODI World Cup, wherein he was seen sitting on the sidelines with the drinks in India’s match against Sri Lanka.
