New Delhi: Despite the assembly elections in five states coming to an end soon, there has been no let-up in Congress leaders resorting to foul and filthy language in slamming the political rivals.
In yet another incidence of lowing the political discourse, a Congress leader from Rajasthan Mahendra Singh Malviya hurled a filthy abuse against Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s mother.
The abuse was hurled when the Congress politician was speaking at a public rally on Sunday.
Malviya said, “Har Har Modi, Ghar Ghar Modi, Har Har Modi, Ghar Ghar Modi” and then followed it with an extremely vulgar abuse. He added, “Where did all these slogans go? We have been hit badly in the five years. People have suffered in the last five years. Now it is time for the people to punish them.”
Malviya, not the 1st Congress leader to insult PM
Mahendra Singh Malviya, the Congress MLA from Rajasthan is not the first leader to use derogatory language against the Prime Minister.
Recently, UP Congress chief Raj Babbar used the devaluing rupee to mock the mother of Modi.
Babbar had said, “Today, the rupee’s valuation has dropped so low, that it is inching closer to Narendra Modi’s beloved mother’s age”.
Another senior leader CP Joshi used casteist slur to target Narendra Modi. He said only Brahmins had the right to speak about Hinduism and since Modi belonged to an OBC category, he must refrain from speaking on this.
BJP’s Patra castigates Malviya
Launching a scathing attack on Congress MLA, BJP’s Sambit Patra said, “It’s quite a sorry state of affair, the kind of abusive language, that too from top leaders who are using it against PM Modi and his family. It is appalling.”
