Kumaraswamy had on Friday told the Speaker that he was ready to seek a trust vote or face a no-confidence motion during the session which will go on till July 26.
The political crisis began the day after the assembly elections, apparently because of the one-upmanship between the three parties.

Beleaguered Karnataka Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy on Friday sought permission for facing a floor test during the ongoing session of the Assembly.
This order does not apply to public gatherings that are taking place with permission of competent authorities and if anyone requires a special exemption, they may apply to Commissioner of Police, Brihan Mumbai," the order further stated
Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy has also claimed that they will overcome the current bout of crisis as well. All the ministers from the two parties have resigned as well to give a free hand to Kumaraswamy to restructure his Council of Ministers and accommodate the dissident MLAs.
Siddaramaiah said that Cabinet reshuffle will be held soon to accommodate the rebels. Meanwhile, Yeddyurappa has sought the resignation of Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy.
"All JD(S) ministers have resigned, like the 21 Congress ministers who had resigned," tweeted the CMO from their official Twitter account.
"21 Karnataka Congress ministers have resigned voluntarily," Karnataka Congress Legislature Party leader Siddaramaiah said while addressing the media.
"I am going to Tumkur and I will come back at 4 pm. You know about the political developments. Let us wait and see. I do not want to answer to what HD Kumaraswamy and Siddaramaiah say," Yeddyurappa said
