Appealing to Congress and JD (S) to work together for the betterment of the state, he added, "I appeal to the opposition that we must work together. I appeal to House to unanimously express confidence in me." (ANI)
The new Chief Minister of the state had expressed confidence of winning the trust vote with ease. Yediyurappa had also declared that he would table the Finance Bill formulated by the previous HD Kumaraswamy-led Congress-JDS government in the House after the trust vote.
I requested the Governor to convey to the Speaker that he should take necessary action immediately. Kumaraswamy has no moral right to continue as Chief Minister as they don't have the numbers," Yeddyurappa said after his meeting.
