Fortnite downtime: Epic Games to upload update 16.20 with Season 6, Server downtime status, leaks

New Delhi: Players across the globe are unable to play the popular battle royale, Fortnite by Epic Games. The reason being the server downtime as earlier announced by the Epic Games, as they are uploading the patches for new version 16.20. But the downtime for this new patch is longer than the time it took for the previous updates.

Players will be able to download this latest update even during the server downtime but will not be able to play until servers are back online. Fortnite server downtime has been scheduled for 7 AM GMT, on Tuesday, April 13. For Indian users, Fortnite’s servers will be down from 12:30 PM IST on Tuesday.

Updates and Downtime

Fortnite will be unplayable for an extended period of time, but it would be worth it as the update is bringing quite a lot of changes and some features. Epic Games has said on their official website that the longest time for which the servers will be down is five hours, which is longer than usual.

The Fortnite development team has confirmed that a new Bow will be released today.The Unstable Bow was leaked earlier this year and this could be the same bow with the leaked functionalities.
