New Delhi: To keep up the momentum from the Sultan of Johor Cup, Hockey India has recently announced a 20-member squad for the upcoming Hockey Men’s Junior Asia Cup. The tournament will be a qualifying tournament for the Hockey Men’s World Cup. However, India has already qualified for the upcoming World Cup because of hosting rights. Nevertheless, head coach PR Sreejesh who recently took over as head coach of the junior side remarked:
India squad for the Hockey Men’s Junior Asia Cup 2024 ➡︎➡︎: Amir Ali (c), Rohit (vc), Princedeep Singh (gk), Bikramjit Singh (gk), Talem Priyobarta, Shardanand Tiwari, Yogember Rawat, Anmol Ekka, Ankit Pal, Manmeet Singh, Rosan Kujur, Mukesh Toppo, Thokchom Kingson Singh, Gurjot Singh, Sourabh Anand Kushwaha, Dilraj Singh, Arshdeep Singh, and Araijeet Singh Hundal.
Travelling reserves: Sukhvinder and Chandan Yadav.
The Hockey Men’s Junior Asia Cup will start from 26th November 2024.
