Jake Paul wins his bout against ‘Iron’ Mike in the Championship showdown

New Delhi: Jake Paul has won the ‘big fight’ with a thumping victory over his 58-year-old opponent, Mike Tyson aka ‘Iron Mike’. Billed as the biggest boxing match of 2024, it went the distance at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas on Saturday. YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul was the better of the two fighters as Mike Tyson, 58, was slow in his reflex.

The match started with Tyson starting his onslaught against Jake Paul in his usual fashion reminding the fans of the heyday of Tyson during the 80s and 90s. For 60 seconds it looked like Tyson will have the upper hand over Paul and was set to entertain the crowd in Arlington, Texas.

However, in the next 15 minutes added with some breaks for deep breaths, age soon caught on to Tyson and he looked exactly like a man nearing his 60th birthday. Tyson barely landed a punch during the eight-round bout at the AT&T Stadium. Eventually, Jake Paul won by big margins on all three cards — 80-72, 79-73 and 79-73.  Interestingly, Tyson hadn’t fought a professional boxing match in 19 years, landing just 18 total punches throughout the entire match.

Mike Tyson’s locker room interviews ahead of the fight!

Meanwhile, Tyson’s locker room interview became viral on the internet before the start of the game. After promising fans a “vicious win,” Tyson walked away from the camera- only to expose his naked butt.

Netflix quickly shared the moment on social media, captioning it, “Mike Tyson’s pre-fight interview got real cheeky. #PaulTyson.”

Tyson’s interview which went viral on the internet made him a laughing on the internet as the fans reacted with disbelief.
