What is the Fact?

This video is of October 4, when Governor Baby Rani Maurya, CM Trivendra Singh Rawat, and Union Human Resource Minister Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank also attended the convocation of IIT Roorkee.

President Ramnath Kovind and his wife was the chief guest at the event.

During the program, when Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat reached the stage, he welcomed the President as well as all the honored guests. During his speech, Trivendra Singh Rawat paid respect to Savita Kovind, wife of President Ramnath Kovind as the first woman of the country, Mrs. Ramnath Kovind. This part of the speech is being incorrectly propagated on social media.

Actually, the wife of the president of the country can be stated as the first lady of the country. Therefore, CM called Savita Kovind as the first lady of the country, Mrs. Ramnath Kovind.

An attempt was made to show that the CM Called out Ramnath Kovind as the first lady Smt Ramnath Kovind, which is absolutely false. This was live-streamed on Youtube and if you take a look on the actual video, it will be clear how the video is being is-propagated to tarnish the CM’s image.

Watch this part of the video timed between 56: 16- 57:35:

Social media users are now sharing the entire statement of the CM so that users can know about the actual truth.
