New Delhi: The verbal duel between Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) over contentious issues in Delhi is no secret. In spite of adopting any coherent attitude, the two parties often get into heated exchanges. Often, the remarks of senior party leaders are twisted and often taken out of context by the rivals to reap political benefits.

Recently, a Facebook post became viral, which quotes Delhi BJP chief Manoj Tiwari as saying, “Kejriwal wants to close down private hospitals by extending modern facilities in government-run dispensaries and hospitals.”

Another FB post claims that Kejriwal wants to shut down Nursing Homes and ultra-modern hospitals by opening AAP-designed Mohalla Clinics in every nook and corner of the city. This remark has been attributed to BJP MP Manoj Tiwari.

This statement of Delhi BJP chief Manoj Tiwari was being shared on Facebook and Twitter to portray him in bad light. Though, the source of this viral claim remained ambiguous, a couple of them were found to be linked to a Hindi news portal.

Recently, Manoj Tiwari targeted Kejriwal government for deteriorating condition of government hospitals in Delhi but this viral claim has no truth in it. Even after doing reverse image search, we found that no such statement came from Manoj Tiwari. This paper cutting is fake and doctored.
