8 Points About Newly Inaugurated Bilaspur AIIMS

PM Modi dedicated the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) to the people of Bilaspur in Himachal Pradesh today.

It took Rs 1,470 crore to construct the complete complex.

The AIIMS is equipped with 18 speciality departments, and 17 super speciality departments in addition to 18 modular operation theatres.

The hospital is equipped with a capacity of 750 beds, including 64 ICU beds.

It spreads across 247 acres with 24 hours emergency services.

It has 30-bed reserved under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana (PMSSY).

At the AIIMS Bilaspur campus, 100 students for MBBS and 60 students for nursing will be enrolled every year.
