1991- India won the tournament by 7 wickets while Sri Lanka was declared the runner-up.
1995- India won the Asia Cup tournament by 8 wickets and Sri Lanka again finished as the runner-up.

2004 - Sri Lanka won the tournament by 25 runs and India was the runner-up.
2008 - Sri Lanka again won the tournament next year by a whopping margin of 100 runs and India finished as the runner-up.
India won the Asia Cup 2010 after a gap of 15 years while Sri Lanka was declared the runner-up.
Pakistan won its second Asia Cup title in 2012 when Bangladesh finished as the runner-up.
2014- Sri Lanka won the tournament by 5 wickets and Pakistan finished as the runner-up.
India won its 6th Asia Cup title in 2016 by 8 wickets. The match was held in Bangladesh.
