Chinese President: Who can succeed Xi Jinping?

 The Chinese military put President Xi Jinping under house arrest, according to media reports. 

 A viral video shared by Chinese human right activist Jennifer Zeng showed several military vehicles running on a road near Beijing. 

She wrote on Twitter that the convoy of military vehicles was 80 km long.

It's rumoured on social media that the plan to put Jinping under house arrest was prepared when he was in Samarkand for the SCO summit on Sept 15.

A few reports also said that over 6,000 domestic flights have now been cancelled in China.

It's now reported that Chinese Army General Li Qiaoming may take over as the new president.
