He claimed he had no involvement in the situation and had no idea who sent the letter
The news comes only one day after the Maharashtra Home Department beefed up Salman Khan's security following a death threat letter delivered to him and his father, famous playwright Salim Khan
On a Sunday morning, Salim Khan sat on a bench at the Bandra Bandstand after a morning walk
This is when he received a letter from an unknown source threatening Salim and Salman's life
The Mumbai Police also filed a FIR in the case under section 506-II of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) at the Bandra police station after the death threat letter was sent
Khan's Galaxy Apartment house in the Bandra region was visited by five officials from the Mumbai crime branch, as well as local police officers
The location where Salim Khan received the threat letter was also visited by police
Police combed through footage from nearby CCTV cameras to find the person who placed the threat note on the bench
