During this time of Navratri Celebrations, Renooji (RenooNirula), has enabled us with knowledge and mantras to connect to, understand, and invoke the energies of Devi. It is a Journey that the Guru Invites You to take with Surrender and Devotion. (Below are extracts from Renooji’s lectures on Devi, Shakti, Durga and her many forms to empower you further)
SIDDHIDATRI :
“The Goddess who is ensconced upon a blooming lotus, she holds a discus, conch shell, mace, and lotus in her four arms, blessing and bestowing all boons & wishes upon all her devotees, as she is the keeper, possessor, and bestower of the ashta-siddhis, the eight supernatural powers of – Anima, Mahima, Garima, Laghima, Prapti, Prakambya, Ishitva and Vashitva.”
‘As the 9 Nights and 10 Days of Worshipping and Glorifying the Feminine Divine continue and are coming to an end, with the Eighth Form of the Navdurgas – we must ask ourselves, have I surrendered completely to this mystical and magical force of Devi – how far have i gone in my search to connect to what or rather who are these Nav-Durgas?
They are the key-expansions of the Feminine Divine in Hindu Folklore, our Myths, Legends and Vedic Hymns describe them as Warriors, Mothers, Progenitors, Protectors, and Keepers of ALL Human endeavour -be it in the spiritual or then material realms.
For many, these adjectives will never be enough, and hence they refer to her in her energy form – as SHAKTI! As all that is movement, kinetic and frenetic in this world and the next. She is the Masculine Divine in motion – she is that combustible nuclear energy ACTIVATED! That is what Shakti is, and to know her, touch her, taste her and see her, we must first begin by inviting her, and approaching her with love in our hearts. The best way to do this is through Mantra, and so, we are sharing here the mool-mantra, the beej-mantra, or the seed-chant for this form of Devi, from the Navratri Chanting of the 9th of October, 2016. As we begin the mantra and meditation for the ninth Form of Durga – SIDDHIDATRI/SIDDHIDAAYINI, we acknowledge her supreme power and open ourselves to her blessings. She is all-powerful, keeper of the 8 siddhis, the supernatural and mystical powers, as we chant and approach her, let us in our heart connect to the affirmations that go with each Siddhi (as given by Renooji) –
Anima – “I am Humble”
Mahima – “I think of all and everything”
Garima, – “I am eternally committed”
Laghima – “I forgive and forget”
Prapti – “I am fulfilled”
Prakambya – All is possible, always”
Ishitva – “I am motivated, I motivate and lead”
Vashitva – “I am a disciple and thus disciplined in all thought, action and deed.”
Affirming the above let us connect to her golden form and chant :
