New Delhi: The eighth month of the year has kicked off, August is all set to be filled with celebrations as several Hindu festivals and fasts will be celebrated and observed during the month.
This month is going to be important for the Hindus as many auspicious festivals such as Raksha Bandhan , Krishna Janmashtmi and Hartalika Teej will be celebrated in August.
The month will begin with Nag Panchami fast. This day is celebrated every year on the fifth day of Shukla Paksha of Sawan and will end with the Ganesh Chaturthi fast. Also, Kajari Teej and Hartalika Teej will also be celebrated in this month.
