The writer is a Retired IAS officer. He has Ph.D, M.Sc. (Food Technology) degree from CFTRI (Mysore), MBA from FMS, Delhi University, MA (Rural Social Development) from Univ. of Reading, UK. Dr. Ghonkrokta has published 20 papers in national/ international journals and has authored one book also. He has represented India on food safety/ nutrition issues, attended various (more than 200) workshops/seminars/conferences within and outside India.
