CBSE Class 12 result: 100% of transgender students cleared the board exam in 2022

Previous year as well, students from the transgender category scored 100% marks in the CBSE board exam.

New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) declared the result of class 12 on Friday. The results are available on the official website and the students who appeared for the exam can check their respective results at the board’s official website – cbseresults.nic.in and results.cbse.nic.in. Notably, all the students who belonged to the transgender category passed the exam.

This year, no single transgender student failed. Previous year as well, students from the transgender category scored 100% marks in the CBSE board exam. In 2020, 86.19% of transgender students cleared the exam while in 2019, 83.33% of students passed the board exam. Thus, compared to both years, this year’s performance was exceptional.

Reportedly, this year, 92.71% of students have cleared the CBSE class 12 board exam. Moreover, students from Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya have performed well in the exam. Interestingly, girls have performed well than boys this year. The overall score of girls accounts for 94.54% while boys recorded 91.25%.

Students from Trivandrum delivered an excellent performance with an overall 98.3% followed by Bengaluru, Chennai, and Delhi East with 98.16%, 97.79%, and 96.29% respectively.

The students can also check their results on results.gov.in and digilocker.gov.in, apart from the official websites.

According to CBSC, the class 10 and 12 board exams for 2023 will take place from February 23. Further, the class 12 compartment exams will be taking place from August 23 on the term 2 syllabus.

To avoid any unhealthy competition, the education board will not release the topper merit list for CBSE 12th result 2022.
