New Delhi: Invitations for the post of Sailor MR have been invited by the Indian Navy in official notification. The applications are invited for the enrolment of unmarried male applicants, for approximately 350 vacancies.
The eligible candidates can apply for the positions online on the official website for the Indian Navy. The last date to apply is July 23, 2021 before 5 PM.
In the selection process, a candidate will have a written as well as a physical test. A medical examination will also be mandatory like any other selection criteria in defense services.
In view of the ongoing pandemic, the applicants appearing in the written examination will also be required to produce a Covid-negative RTPCR report from a government-recognized laboratory. This report needs not to be older than 72 hours than the date of examination.
As per the eligibility norms in the recruitment, a candidate has to be born between 1st April 2021 – September 20, 2004. Also, the candidate should have passed the matriculation examination from any board of education recognized by the government of India.
The job designations as per the official notification are – Chef (vegetarian and non-vegetarian both), Steward and Hygienist.
A stipend of Rs 14,600 per month will be paid to the candidate, during the training period, which will be placed in Level 3 of the Defence Pay Matrix (Rs 21,700- Rs 69,100) after the completion of the initial training. An additional DA of Rs.5200 per month will be applicable as well.
