New Delhi: Kendriya Vidyalaya Admission 2022 for class 1 have begun from today, i.e February 28 onwards. Guardians can fill the online application forms available on the official website of the institution on behalf of the students.
The KVS registrations that have begin from Monday from 10 am onwards, will commence on March 21, 2022 at 7 PM.
Below are the all required documents, criteria, Kendriya Vidyalaya guidelines, and direct online links you need to know about the KVS admissions for this year.
Criteria for registration:
“A Child must be 6 years old as on March, 31 in the academic year in which admission is sought for Class 1. Children born on April 1 will also be considered for admissions,” stated Kendriya Vidyalaya in its official notification.
People into private jobs, self-employed or belonging to any other sectors are eligible to apply for their children, however, admissions are to be granted as per KVS guidelines priority.
Documents needed for registration:
# A digital photograph or scanned photograph of the child seeking admission (JPEG file of size at most 256KB)
# Child’s birth certificate (JPEG or PDF file of size at most 256KB),
# Details of government certificate in case you are applying under economically weaker class
# Transfer details of parent/grandparent whose service credentials will be used in the application
# Category certificate (SC, ST, etc.), if applicable.
# PwD certificate, if applicable.
# A certificate of retirement for uniformed Defence employees.
# Proof of residence
How to Apply:
1. Visit the official website – kvsonlineadmission
2. Register yourself on the website, you will then receive a login code
3. Using this login code, fill in the application form for KVS Admissions 2022
4. After you submit the application form, a unique Application Submission Code will be sent along with a list of documents needed.
5. Print out the application form and keep the required documents together to submit at the time of admissions
Meanwhile, the registration for Class 2 to 10 will start from April 8, while that for Class 11 are expected to begin after the declaration of Class 10 results.
