New Delhi: The Civil Services 2022 examination result was issued today by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). Candidates who took the personality test can view their results at upsc.gov.in, the official website. Women again swept the top ranks this year, with Ishita Kishore winning AIR 1, followed by Garima Lohia, Uma Harathi N, and Smriti Mishra.
The UPSC CSE preliminary test was held on June 5, 2022, and the results were announced on June 22. The main test was held from September 16 to September 25, and the results were announced on December 6. The interviews were completed on May 18, 2023.

Shruti Sharma achieved all-India Rank 1 in the UPSC CSE 2021 final result last year. The top three slots were all filled by female applicants. Ankita Agarwal was ranked second, and Gamini Singla from Chandigarh was ranked third.
Meanwhile, the UPSC will hold the CSE 2023 prelims on May 28. The test admission cards have been made available on the test’s official web page.

According to the UPSC announcement, the candidature of 101 individuals is provisional. In the news release, their roll numbers are mentioned. The number of reported openings climbed to 1022 this year following the reversion of IRTS to Civil Services 2022. The highest in recent years. There are a total of 178 individuals on the reserve list. There are 89 in the general category, 28 in EWS, 52 in OBSm, 5 and 4 in SC and ST respectively.
