UPSC to hold PTs/interviews of remaining candidates from July 20-30

New Delhi: March 24 is the last date for the candidates when they can apply for UPSC Civil Services Prelims 2021. Candidates who have not yet applied for the Prelims 2021 are advised to visit the official website of the Union Public Service Commission – upsc.gov.in and upsconline.nic.in. UPSC released the notification for this year’s UPSC Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination in January. The online application window opened March 4, 2021 which is going to close on March 24 at 6.00 PM.

This year’s notification mentions that a total of 712 vacancies will be recruited through the recruitment process. Date for this year’s Civil Services Prelims 2021 Exam is 27 June 2021.

The UPSC recruiment process comprises two successive stages. i.e. Prelims & Mains then Interview for the selection of candidates for the various Services and posts. UPSC Civil Services Preliminary Exam Pattern:

The UPSC Civil Services Preliminary Examination 2021 comprise of two compulsory papers of 200 marks each. Both the papers consist objective type (multiple choice questions) questions and duration of each exam is two hours. The General Studies Paper-II of the Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination will be a qualifying paper with 33% fixed as the minimum qualifying marks. The papers will be held in both Hindi and English.
