New Delhi: Amitabh Bachchan hosted Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC) completes 1000 episodes this week. Amitabh Bachchan welcomed his daughter and granddaughter Shweta Nanda Bachchan and Navya Naveli Nanda respectively to grace the chairs of the show. During the game, the trio was joined by Jaya Bachchan.
The new promo of the upcoming episode shared by the official Instagram handle of the Sony TV, showed Jaya Bachchan joining the show virtually.
The veteran actress turned politician made some interesting revelations about Big B. She stated that Amitabh Bachchan never picks up calls. “Aap inko phone karo, kabhi phone uthate nahi hai (You call him, he never picks),” complains Jaya. In respond, Amitabh stated, “Internet agar gadbad hai, hum kya karein bhai (If internet is not working, how is it my fault?)”
However, Shweta takes her mother’s side while reminding Amitabh she said, “Social media pe photo lagayenge, tweet karenge (He will share photos on social media, tweet from his account).”
Granddaughter Navya takes this opportunity to quiz Amitabh saying, “Jab hum parlour se aate hai aur nani ko aap bolte hai ki aap kitni acchi lag rahi hai, jhooth bol rahe hai hume ya actually me hum acche lag rahe hai (Whenever we come from beauty parlour, you tell Nani (Jaya) that she is looking good. Do you lie or you mean it)?”
In an attempt to dodge the question, Amitabh compliments his wife, “Jaya aap kitni acchi lag rahi hai.” Jaya responded hilariously to Amitabh saying, “Jhooth bolte hue aap bilkul acche nahi lagte.” Her response made everyone including Shweta, Navya, and Amitabh in laughter.
Meanwhile, Amitabh Bachchan on completion of 1000 episodes of KBC got teary-eyed and he thanked all his fans for the constant support and love. Big B has hosted the popular reality show since 2000, except for its third season, which was hosted by Shahrukh Khan.
