After the success of ‘The Kashmir Files’, Vivek Agnihotri reveals title of his new film 

New Delhi: After the success of ”The Kashmir Files” in Cinema halls, the director and writer of the film Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri on Friday revealed the title of his next film. Agnihotri took to Twitter to announce the title. He did not reveal much about the film but used a hashtag to disclose the title, ”The Delhi Files”.

Before revealing the title of the film, Vivek thanked everyone for loving ”The Kashmir Files”.  After this Vivek said, ”It’s time for me to work on a new film.”

”I thank all the people who owned #TheKashmirFiles. For the last 4 years, we worked very hard with the utmost honesty & sincerity. I may have spammed your TL but it’s important to make people aware of the GENOCIDE & injustice done to Kashmiri Hindus,” wrote Mr Agnihotri in his tweet.

”It’s time for me to work on a new film,” he added in his tweet further. In a follow-up tweet, he wrote, ”#TheDelhiFiles.”

Soon after the release of the title, it became a trend on Twitter.

The Kashmir Files shows genocide of Kashmir Pandit

”The Kashmir Files” was released in theatres on March 11, 2022. The 170-minute long film stars Mithun Chakraborty, Anupam Kher, Darshan Kuma, Pallavi Joshi in the lead role.

The story of The Kashmir Files is based on video interviews of the first generation victims of the Genocide of the Kashmiri Pandit Community in 1990, according to IMDb.

The IMDb rating of the film currently stands at 8.3/10. The film also performed well at the box office. Till April 11, the film crossed the impressive mark of Rs 250 crore.

Notably, the budget of the film is said to be Rs 15 crore.
