During this time period, for ‘Barbenheimer,’ – Barbie made 27.5 crore nett while Oppenheimer made 73.15 crore nett.

The first week total for Oppenheimer was 73.15 crore, which was boosted by 5.25 crore nett on its seventh day of release. American theoretical scientist J. Robert Oppenheimer, who was instrumental in the creation of the atomic bomb, is portrayed on screen by Cillian Murphy.

According to Deadline, Barbie’s box office success has already outpaced that of several other films starring women. It also broke Captain Marvel’s record of $153.4 million for the biggest opening weekend for a picture directed by a woman in the United States. The film has the highest single-day gross of 2023 ($70,8 million).
