Famous Pakistani comedian Tariq Teddy dies at 46

New Delhi: Famous Pakistani theatre actor and comedian Tariq Teddy died at the age of 46 due to a long ailment on Saturday. Teddy took his last breath in Lahore this morning. The 46-year-old actor was in a hospital for a long and he was suffering from liver and respiratory diseases.

70% of organs stopped working

According to the media reports, the doctors said that Tariq’s condition deteriorated due to a liver infection. With the aggravated infection, 70% of his organs also stopped working. After Punjab Chief Minister Pervez Elahi knew about the reports of Tariq’s ailment, he announced free-of-charge treatment.

After his death, from the stage artist community to several politicians started sending their condolences. Teddy had been active in the industry back in the 90s.

”Saddened to hear about the death of Comedy Legend #TariqTeddy. Deepest condolences to his family. His services to Pakistani Art & Media will always be remembered. May Almighty Allah bless him with highest ranks in Jannah,” tweeted PTI leader Muhammad Basharat Raja.

Pakistani cricketer Mohammad Hafees also expressed his grief over the death of Teddy on Twitter, ”Sad to learn about demise of famous stage actor & comedian #TariqTeddy. Condolences to his family & friends. May almighty Allah bless him jannah. Aameen.”
