New Dehli: In the last few years, films made in the South Indian industry have created a lot of impact on Hindi-speaking people. Films like KGF, Bahaubali, Sivaji, Dear Comrade, and Arjun Reddy won the hearts of people as well as performed well at the box office.
However, the actors of South Indian films alleged that they still feel like outsiders in Bollywood. They do not get the same respect in the industry compared to their counterpart in Bollywood.

1. Mahesh Babu
Talking about Bollywood, Mahesh Babu said I don’t think they can afford me so it would be better for me not to waste my time working in an industry which can’t afford me. He added, ”The respect and the stardom I get in South in huge, so I never really thought of leaving my industry and going to some other industry.”
2. Shruti Hassan
Shruti Hassan is the daughter of famous Telugu star Kamal Haasan. Sharing her experience in Bollywood, she said she feels like an outsider. She has been asked many times to focus on Hindi.
3. Yash
Yash who gained a lot of fame in Hindi cinema from KGF says I was always against the divide between south and north Indian films. I think, an Indian film and that it should be present like that.
4. Allu Arjun
In ‘Pushpa: The Rise’, Allu Arjun surprised everyone with his performance. He is still to make his Bollywood debut, but he said, ”When we are the protagonist of the film that we do, we should be offered to play a protagonist. I would not be interested in anything…If any comes with an offer to play a second role.”
5. Ram Charan
Ram Charan is also a very famous South Indian superstar. He got a lot of appreciation from the Hindi belt audience for his recently released film, RRR. ”I want a director from Hindi cinema…to explore the talent from South and make bigger films so that we have bigger budgets and we see bigger numbers at the end of the day.”
