House of the Dragon finale ‘leaked’ online, Twitter can’t keep calm

New Delhi: House of the Dragon, one of the most popular shows on HBO network which enjoys a dedicated pool of fan base & patrons were in for a major disappointment on Saturday as the finale episode of the show reportedly got leaked online.

The finale episode of the show got leaked online, just days ahead of its premiere on the HBO network. The grand finale was being widely awaited by fans.
A sudden leak of the finale show though prompted the makers to swing into action and take necessary steps to contain the damage. A spokesperson of the HBO network said that everything was being done to remove the leaked copies from the internet.

The network also admitted that 10th episode of the popular series was leaked on illegal torrent websites but informed that it has aggressively taken up the matter and is now in process of pulling out copies from the internet.

“We’re disappointed that this has disrupted viewing experience for loyal fans, who will get to see a pristine version when it premieres Sunday,” it said in a press statement, as per The Guardian.

Twitter divided about watching ‘leaked’ show

The mere news of the leak and its confirmation by the network came as a shock & surprise for the netizens. Many got elated over the leaked episode, started searching for it and even solicited help from fellow users in tracking the leaked link.

However, some ‘loyal fans’ of the show urged everyone to stop downloading the leaked episode & wait for the premiere time. It didn’t seem to have any effect on users as many commented, “can someone give link for House of Dragons leak” while few other urged others to send them the leaked part of series.
