New Delhi: Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut’s much anticipated first look from her upcoming film ‘Emergency’, wherein she essays the role of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi has finally been unveiled.
As the title indicates, the plot of the film revolves around the most significant and biggest political event in the country after the Independence, i.e. national emergency which was imposed by the then Indira Gandhi government in 1975.
Ranaut roped the renowned Oscar-winning makeup artist David Malinowski to attain the perfect look for her character in the film. Malikowski had won the award for the ‘Best Makeup and Hairstyle’ in 2017 for a movie named ‘The Darkest Hour’.

Ranaut has also released the first look of her film ‘Emergency’ via her Instagram handle. In the video clip, Kangana can be seen in white hair look with slight wrinkles on her face.
Along with the video, Kangana wrote in caption, “First look of Emergency. Portrait of one of the most powerful and controversial women in the history of the world. Presenting her who was called Sir”.
