Where & When To Watch

Amitabh Bachchan’s popular show, Kaun Banega Crorepati, is back for its 15th season, featuring both television and OTT (over-the-top) streaming options. The show will premiere on August 14, 2023, at 9 PM IST, with television viewers able to watch it on Sony TV. Those who prefer digital streaming can tune in to Sony Liv. Following the grand premiere, the show will air Monday to Friday at 9 PM IST on a weekly basis. The upcoming season is expected to have a similar duration as the previous one, running for approximately five months.

Kaun Banega Crorepati Season 15 introduces exciting new features. In the upcoming season, KBC 15 brings a fresh addition called ‘Super Sandook’, offering contestants a chance to regain lost opportunities. Another noteworthy change is ‘Desh Ka Sawal’, aiming to encourage more audience participation. Alongside the existing lifelines like Video Call a Friend and Audience Poll, a new lifeline has been added called ‘Double Dip’. Viewers can also look forward to the return of the Fastest Finger First segment.

KBC, the Hindi version of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire, has been hosted by Amitabh Bachchan since its inception in 2000. The show had a different host, Shah Rukh Khan, only during its third season. In the 7th season (2013), the top prize was ₹7 crore, and it was increased to ₹7.5 crore for Season 14 in 2022, as a tribute to India’s 75 years of independence. The registration for the 15th season began in April, attracting numerous contestants eager to showcase their knowledge and try their luck on the legendary quiz show.
