New Delhi: This is one of the best weekends for the moviegoers & cine buffs as three big brand movies are releasing this Friday i.e. November 4.
Katrina Kaif, Siddhant Chaturvedi & Ishaan Khatter starrer Phone Bhoot is a horror comedy hitting silver screen with much hope to bring the audience back while Janhvi Kapoor’s Mili and Double XL starring Huma Qureshi & Sonakshi Sinha are also highly anticipated movies. All three are different from conventional film scripts.
Post the corona period, the movie business has been discouraging & disappointing on back of poor earnings. The filmmakers as well as multiplexes have high hopes from the three flicks with hilarious takes on serious issues of life.
Though all the films have chosen to bank upon tight script & solid content rather than aggressive marketing, it is yet to be seen how the earnings & Box Office collections pans out for them.
Film Business Expert Girish Johar told a leading entertainment portal that all three films are bound to have a certain kind of occupancy because they all deal with specific issues and will find connect with certain set of individuals.
He feels that the clash of 3 big Bollywood movies may act as a dampener but all will find their niche audience.
“Even if we have some occupancy for films across these genres, at a larger level, the audiences are coming back to the theatres, it should be a good sign,” he told Zoom TV.
Among all the three, Phone Bhoot boasts of a strong star cast with Katrina Kaif, Siddhant & Ishaan Khatter. Coming from Excel Productions, the movie is likely to stay ahead of its peers in terms of its revenue as well as acceptability.
